  • All individuals whose personal health information is received and processed by IBH

Integrated Behavioral Health, Inc. (IBH) continues to keep informed of the developments of regulations issued by the Department of Health and Human Services regarding Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

IBH has established a HIPAA Task Force that includes an Officer and Commitee that investigates, studies and implements the four (4) provisions of HIPAA.

The IBH HIPAA Task Force has identified a rigorous HIPAA compliance process that has expanded the functions of the other Task Forces in NCQA and Quality Management.

This rigorous process has led IBH to establish plans, policies and procedures for compliance with:

  • Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • National Standards for Electronic Data Transmission
  • Privacy & Confidentiality Regulations
  • Business Associate Agreements
  • Education & Training of IBH Personnel

IBH requires its providers and other business associates to comply with current HIPAA regulations
